Global Diamond Group Timeline
Fady and Global Diamond Group were able to create truly historical and one of a kind diamonds. Reaching clientele such as Harry Winston, Van Cleef & Arpels, Cartier, Jacob & Co, Asprey, and Tiffany & Co offering them the most superb and stunning fancy color diamonds ranging from all colors and sizes.
Fady immigrated to the US enrolling himself in electrical engineering at Case Western Reserve University in Ohio. Before graduating Fady decided to drop out and pursue his dreams of being a diamond dealer.
Fady started working on the diamond district for Rima Investors, learning everything from diamond manufacturing to selling.
Fady founded Fady Njeim Ltd. trading all types of diamonds and jewelry to make a name for himself.
Fady suffered a major business loss leaving the diamond business and working multiple other jobs to make it by.
Born and raised in Lebanon, Fady lived in a small mountain village in northern Lebanon with very small and humbling beginnings.
GDG has become a family run business introducing Fady’s kids to the business creating the next generation of gemologists upholding the standards set by their father over the past 40+ years.

Fady graduated in California from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) officially becoming a Gemologist and continuing his journey to New York City.
Fady had rejoined the business traveling worldwide building an even stronger business and client base, as he specialized in yellow diamonds and capes.
The Lebanese Civil War began to intensify forcing Fady to leave his family for a better future.
Thankfully due to the respect and reputation Fady was able to build on the diamond district many fellow dealers came to Fady asking him to come back to the business.
