Fancy Color Diamonds
While the typical image of a diamond is usually a transparent colorless stone used for rings and jewelry, there is an entire rainbow of colors that diamonds can naturally exhibit. As mentioned in the White Diamonds section, colorless diamonds are graded on the D - Z scale, but when a diamond displays a color with enough tone and saturation it will be graded beyond that scale and become a Fancy Colored diamond. Some of the most famous examples of colored diamonds include the Tiffany Diamond, one of the largest and finest yellow diamonds in the world, and the Hope Diamond, an exceptional blue diamond with a rich history and alleged curse behind it. With that said, here you can explore the rarest diamonds known to exist.
